This website is subject to Swiss data protection law, in particular according to the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), as well as any applicable foreign data protection law such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU). The EU recognizes that Swiss data protection law ensures adequate data protection. Below you will be informed about what type of data is collected and for what purpose it is collected:

Data Transfer/Data Logging

When you visit this site, the web server automatically records log files that cannot be assigned to a specific person. This data includes e.g. B. the browser types and versions, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address of the requesting computer, access date and time of the server request and the file request of the client (file name and URL). This data is only collected for the purpose of statistical analysis. Personal data that is particularly worthy of protection within the meaning of the Swiss Data Protection Act is not collected.

This information is collected and processed for the purpose of enabling the use of our websites (establishing a connection), ensuring and increasing the security and stability of our systems and offers, analyzing the use of our offers and services, collecting general demographic information and to enable the optimization of our website and for internal statistical purposes. An identification of the user does not take place. Likewise, no connection is made between this automatically collected information and personal data stored by us.

Registration of a user account

For personalized services or access-protected areas, it may be necessary for you to register and thus set up a user account. It is necessary to enter certain personal data. This concerns, for example, your e-mail address and, depending on the context and offer, other information such as first and last name, address (complete postal address, postal code, city), telephone number, date of birth and gender.

We use the data to process and administer our digital offers, to check the data entered for plausibility, i.e. to justify, structure the content, process and change the contractual relationships concluded with you via your user account and, in the case of fee-based services, for proper invoicing.

Paid Services

If you choose an online payment option, such as a credit card or PayPal, to purchase a Paid Service, payment will be made through the online payment system of the relevant provider. In this case, personal and payment data is processed directly by the provider of the respective payment system. We do not recognize and store your payment details. The data protection regulations of the respective provider of the online payment system also apply. We only store information about your current and previous services and contracts.

The transfer of personal data to third parties

We do not pass on personal data to third parties unless this is required by law or ordered by a court decision.

Excluded from this are the transfers to third parties:

a) for the legal protection of users

b) to meet legal requirements

c) to defend and protect the rights of the provider

d) to comply with data protection regulations

e) to resolve technical difficulties with the services and products

f) for cooperation with service partners who require the transmission of data for service and order processing. In these cases, the transmission of the data is limited to the minimum necessary for the fulfillment of the order.

Information, modification and deletion of your data

In accordance with applicable law, you can ask us in writing at any time whether and which personal data we have stored about you. You will receive notification of this in good time.

You have the right to assert your data protection rights at any time and to request information about whether and which personal data about you is processed or stored by us. You can also have your personal data corrected, blocked or deleted at any time by sending a written notification and corresponding proof of your identity to the following address: terms and conditions@mangascircles.com.

Your personal data made available to us will be secured by taking all technical and organizational security measures in such a way that they are inaccessible to unauthorized third parties. Our security measures are continuously adapted, improved and updated in line with technological developments.

cookies

On some of our pages we use so-called "session cookies" to make it easier for you to use our website. Cookies help to make your visit to our websites easier, more pleasant and more meaningful. Cookies are information files that your web browser automatically saves on your computer's hard drive when you visit our website. Cookies neither damage the hard drive of your computer nor are personal user data transmitted to us by cookies.

For example, we use cookies to track traffic. This means who has visited our portal and to derive from this how often certain pages or offers are visited, which parts of the portal are particularly popular and, in general, how the portal is used.

We use other cookies so that you can move freely on our portal and use its functionalities, for example when accessing access-protected areas. Such cookies may also be required to use shopping carts or payment functions. Using cookies, options you have selected or decisions you have made can also be used as settings to make your visit to the portal more convenient. In general, the use of cookies serves to improve our services and make them more effective and secure. However, cookies are also used to collect information in order to offer you advertising that may be of interest to you. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser at any time so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears when you receive a new cookie.

In principle, our digital offers can also be used without accepting cookies, although individual functionalities may then be restricted.

Note on Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics from Google Inc. This is a tool that can be used to analyze the use of websites. Google uses various techniques for this purpose, including storing cookies on your computer. These store information about the use of our site, which we use to improve our offer. We use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization.

Google Analytics uses cookies and usually stores them outside the EU/EFTA area. According to Google, it also transfers this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. The IP address transmitted by the browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies (see "Cookies" above). Users can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (incl. IP address) being transmitted to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install:

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google DoubleClick for Publishers

This website uses Google DoubleClick for Publishers ("DFP"). This enables the integration of online advertisements from Google Inc. ("Google"). As part of the DFP, the Google service AdSense is also used. Doubleclick is a platform for placing, controlling and optimizing advertisements on websites.

DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. This is used exclusively to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific computer and not to identify a person. DoubleClick cookies do not contain or store any personal user data.

You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the website and from processing this data by Google as follows:

1. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you can if applicable not use all functions of this website in full.

2. By deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain are blocked:

https://www.google.de/settings/ads.

3. By permanent deactivation in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser under the link:

http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

Range measurement with Matomo

As part of the Matomo range analysis, the following data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (ie interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer): the browser type and browser version you are using, the operating system you are using, your country of origin, date and time of the server request, the number of visits, your length of stay on the website and the external links you have activated. The IP address of the users is anonymized before it is saved.

Matomo uses cookies, which are stored on the user's computer and enable an analysis of the use of our online offer by the user. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. The cookies have a storage period of one week. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is only stored on our server and is not passed on to third parties.

Users can object to the anonymous collection of data by the Matomo program at any time with effect for the future. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that Matomo no longer collects any session data. However, if users delete their cookies, this means that the opt-out cookie is also deleted and must therefore be reactivated by the users.

The logs with the user data are deleted after 6 months at the latest.
